Psychologists, Psychiatrists

MSF psychologists and psychiatrists play a vital role in offering mental health support in many humanitarian situations, such as to survivors of disasters or counselling for people with HIV. They deal with mental health, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), support and therapy in malnutrition treatment centres, maternity and pediatric wards, hospitals and health centres. They may be involved with support for survivors of sexual violence.
